The teams split the season’s series as each road team won by a field goal. In Week 4, a Flacco to Houshmandzadeh TD pass with 32 seconds left lifted the Ravens to a win. On Dec. 5, S Troy Polamalu's sack of Flacco forced a fumble that led to the winning score for the Steelers late in the game. Familiar foes who have met 8 times in 3 years, the game may come down to a turnover. Conventional wisdom suggests a low scoring, hard hitting affair as neither team scored more than 17 points against the other this season. Both defenses are flat out intimidating. This game is a rematch of the November 28 game, in which Atlanta won 20-17. The Packers did not lose by more than 4 points all season. QB Matt Ryan has lost two games in 3 years in the Georgia Dome. Falcon coach Mike Smith was named the Sporting News Coach of the Year. Packers defense, lead by LB Clay Mathews and CB Charles Woodson, has been stifling, and with a sudden resurgence of the running game led by James Sparks, the Pack are a popular pick to go to the Super Bowl.
